Lynne-Marie Ellis, Registered Nurse, Haematology

I have observed Lynne-Marie over the past seven plus years as we have come in and out of haematology Day Stay with my sister. Lynne-Marie was nothing short of an Angel to my sister. She calmed her anxiety, advocated strongly for her, supported her through all the ups and downs of treatment and eventually cried with her as they said their final goodbye when my sister came home. I was immensely impressed with her compassion, ability to negotiate on my sister’s behalf, and touched that Lynne-Marie took the time to attend her funeral. It has been a privilege to see her work, as a health professional myself I have the utmost respect for Lynne-Marie, and as a sister I am grateful.
