Industrial action – APEX union Psychologists
The current period of industrial action by APEX union Psychologists will end at 7.59am on Tuesday 3 September. Further industrial action will start at 8am on Tuesday 3 September at 8am and end on Tuesday 1 October at 8am.
During the period of industrial action, starting Tuesday 3 September, participating APEX union Psychologists will not participate in group work with service users and they will not accept new patients onto their caseloads. The industrial action does not include the initial assessment of a patient being triaged or at the intake stage, prior to them being allocated to a psychologist.
This is not a full withdrawal of labour.
Patient safety remains our priority and we are continuing to provide psychology services throughout the industrial action.
